The former Dean of Zamalek set off a "heavy scandal"
Farouk Jafar, the former Egyptian player of Zamalek, blew up a "caliber" scandal, after his confirmation of the African referees sitting in Egyptian clubs before the continental matches.
And Jafar explained in a television statement to the Zamalek channel, saying: "Zamalek and the rest of the Egyptian clubs met with the referees before the matches, and as the team dean I attended the session with the administrators and the ball director, and the referee presents to us whether we want to expel one of the opponent's players or give us Penalty
And the same spokesman continued: "The African referees were shopping from the markets throughout their stay in Egypt, and they were provided with everything they requested, and then the referees suggest what they can do during the matches, whether by expelling one of the opponent's players or giving us a penalty."
