The sports director of Seville explains the reasons for hiring Al Nassiri as a "single deal" for his club in January

Seville's sports director, Montchi, confirmed that hiring the Moroccan striker, Youssef Nassiri, was a major goal for his club in the Mercato Winter, noting that he was chosen based on his response to the terms and needs of the team's coach, Julen Lopetegui.

Munchi defended Al-Nusairi's deal and spent 20 million euros in order to break his contract with his former club, Leganes.

The sports director also explained the reasons for his contract with Al Nassiri: "We are talking about a special contract period in January, when the acclimatization period (for new players) is very short, and that is why our goal was to bring an attacker in a shirt and go down to the stadium (immediately) after Dapur's departure and the arrival of the Shitarito.  The new one should have met the conditions and needs the coach wants. "

He went on to say: “Al-Nusairi has not yet reached the ceiling (maximum level), and he has a large margin of development, with his strength, speed and ability to create opportunities for registration. All of these things led us to choose Youssef, who from the first moment was our main goal (in the winter)”  .

Munchi then concluded his speech by asserting that his club would not make more contracts, and would settle for the Nusairi deal during the winter Mercato.
