Ernesto Valverde, the Catalan newspaper, Sport, put an end to the controversy surrounding the future, stressing that he will remain coach of FC Barcelona, ​​and will not be abandoned at this stage, despite rumors, that there are negotiations between the Catalan team and Xavi Hernandez.


 The newspaper titled: "Valverde will remain until June", indicating that Barca is not considering abandoning Ernesto, and will remain coach of the team, until the end of the season, at the very least.



 Sport added that despite Al-Ansar’s demand to change the coach, the club’s management is “quiet” and does not think about dismissing Valverde, and puts its trust in him, and he will continue to lead the team, and lead Barca, to achieve the ruler goals since the beginning of the season.


 On the other hand, the club management is convinced that the club is preparing for a new "era", and therefore, changing the coach does not work at the present time, and it must wait until the end of the season, to make changes at the level of technical management.


 It should be noted that Valverde, his contract expires at the end of the current season (2019-2020), with the option to extend an additional season.
