Pax reinforces his record and Carter enters history

Saturday's matches saw Vince Carter, 42, enter league history, becoming the first player to compete in four different decades, in his Atlanta Hawks team victory over Indiana Pacers 116-111.

 Pax raised its top spot in the Eastern Region ranking to 32 wins and five defeats, by achieving its 26th victory in the last 28 games.  Milwaukee has the best record this season, ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Western region's top ranked (28 wins and seven defeats).

 As usual, the Greek Yannis Antitoconembo was the best player last season, the most prominent in the Pax, and he scored 32 points and eight rebounds, and led his team to take the lead starting in the middle of the second quarter.

 San Antonio received his 20th loss in 34 games, and Dimar Deruzen was the best player in his ranks with 26 points and five assists.

 Milwaukee is seeking this season to compete for the league title and try to win it for the second time in its history and the first since 1971.

 But another team aspiring to compete for the first title in its history is the Los Angeles Clippers, received Saturday its 12th loss in 37 games, with a severe fall at home to Memphis, who dominated the match in full.

 Klipers and his co-star Kwahy Lennard, who joined this season after helping to crown the Toronto Raptors last season, were unable to stop the rush of Memphis, four of whom crossed the threshold of at least 20 points.

 Grizzles' best record was Jay Crowder with 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, while Garen Jackson Jr added 24 points (with six rebounds), and Dillon Brooks and Ga Morant scored 22 points.

 On the other hand, Lennard scored 24 points with eight rebounds, while his teammate Montreux Harel was the best recorded in the match with 28 points and nine rebounds.

 Historic duncic in Dallas

 Clippers are fourth in the Western Region, behind the Denver Nuggets, who lost on Saturday at the Washington Wizards Stadium 114-128, in front of both Utah Jazz winner Orlando Magic 109-96, and Dallas Mavericks, who lost at home to Charlotte Hornets 120-123 after the extension.

 The Mavericks' loss came despite the realization of its young Slovenian star, Luka Doncic, "Triple Double" with 39 points, 12 rebounds and ten assists.

 It is the tenth time this season that Duncic (20 years) is investigating "Triple Double" (at least 10 in three individual statistical categories), which is a record in the history of the team with whom he is running his second season.

 The two teams exchanged control throughout the match, and Dallas returned to running, despite being 20 points behind in the second quarter.  The Mavericks were close to finishing the match in their original time, as it was ahead 103-101 35 seconds before the end, but Duncic missed a triple attempt, and Terry Rozier responded with a basket that equaled the numbers at 103-103 19 seconds before the end.

 In the extra half, Doncic could not save his team from his 13th loss in 35 games this season, and he tried from outside the arc less than a second before the end of extra time, without writing for his attempt to succeed.

 Rozier was Charlotte's best score with 29 points.

 The evening marked the Atlanta celebration of Veteran Carter, 42, who became the first player in the league's history to compete in four different decades, as he entered the match against Indiana Pacers.

 Carter entered the applause of the fans' applause, as an alternative in the first quarter, knowing that he is running his twenty-second season in the "NBA", in a march that started with the Toronto Raptors in 1998, during which he became one of the American football stars, especially with his high jumps and his sweeping bases "Dunk".

 Carter ended yesterday's match with three points and three rebounds, while his teammate Tri-Yung was Atlanta's best record with 41 points.
